Dr. Eric Narrell, founder of Restore Health Center in Bonita Springs, FL, became frustrated with the standard medical care offered to patients suffering from peripheral neuropathy. He experienced the limitations of conventional treatments firsthand when his mother suffered from neuropathy for six years before passing away in 2017. Despite his best efforts with the available information and technology, Dr. Narrell saw no significant improvement in her condition.

Patients with neuropathy are often told that the cause is unknown and that the condition is permanent. They are frequently prescribed medications such as Neurontin® (gabapentin), Lyrica® (pregabalin), Cymbalta® (duloxetine hydrochloride), and NORCO® (hydrocodone bitartrate and acetaminophen) to manage their pain. However, these medications do not heal the nerves but merely mask the pain, allowing the neuropathy to worsen and often causing severe side effects.

Unsatisfied with these conventional treatments, Dr. Narrell embarked on a quest to discover how to heal peripheral nerve damage leading to neuropathy. His research revealed that many neuropathy cases labeled as idiopathic (unknown cause) actually had clear underlying causes that could be treated and reversed. By identifying these causes, Dr. Narrell developed treatment plans based on proven research that address the root cause of neuropathy rather than just masking the symptoms with medications. His approach aims to heal damaged nerves, alleviate symptoms such as burning, numbness, tingling, and sharp shooting pain, and restore balance, strength, and normal sensory perception, which is critical for preventing injuries like falls.
